The bank is holding out for $575K, so no strange brick house for us. Now to figure out how to establish enough residency that Walker can register his car up there.

We finally got a response yesterday from the seller's bank asking for 15K more then our offer is. We, of course, said no.

Today, we got an e-mail from our realtor forwarding a message from the seller's realtor saying basically, "Your appraisers are crazy and don't understand what current market value is, or how much money thing is going to take to fix. Take the fricking offer or you will take a bigger loss when you try and sell it after foreclosure."

In other news. Reason #151 why I'm happy with my home birth plans: We had our home visit this week (where the midwife and her assistant make sure they can find your house). Our copy of Arkham Horror is out, because I'm too lazy to get all the games to fit in their cabinet. The midwife's assistant sees it and says "Oh! My husband designed that game!"

Rock on.

Yay accomplishment!

I finished the quilt for the baby yesterday, and decided that if it was going to get quilted at all, it needed to be done by the long arm quilter at my favorite store. Now I can concentrate on catching up on my quilt block swaps so that I can take a few months off from having to worry about that while I adjust to the baby/don't have a house/my sewing machine is in a box somewhere and I can't find it.
I only took one picture of it, after I got it laid out.

Now my parents have a place to sleep when they come to visit on Saturday. I really need a design wall.
