I got a new sewing machine last week. I am ridiculously excited by it, but seeing as how I managed to break the ankle on my old one, it really was time for something faster. It comes with three free classes, since it's computerized and has embroidery, just so I have a chance of learning how to do everything. The manual is the size of a fashion magazine. It's a little intimidating.
However, when I pulled up at the store for class this morning, the first thing I saw was a poster in the window advertising this Happy Bunny embroidery design set. How awesome is that? Much better then Spongebob Squarepants.
I'm beginning to think that the machine embroidery design thing is a big racket though. The price at the store was $20 more expensive then from the manufacturers website. Usually the price difference isn't that big, so either the store has a HUGE markup, and I really want to know how cheap I can buy the $10 sets online, or they don't get a good discount from the manufacturers, which seems rude.
