I have a new car

Apparently, if you go to a dealership at the end of the month and they haven't had good sales that month, they REALLY don't want to let you off the lot without a car.
So Walker and I got a completely ridiculous offer on a new Impreza. It's a stick, so I can pretend I'm driving Walker's car. As long as I remember there is no 6th gear and don't try to shift into it on I-5, all will be right.

And if anyone wants a car, you should go to Carter Subaru and ask for David Wood, and tell him we sent you, and then we get a gift certificate for dinner. And maybe we will take you.

Thanks to Alton's birthday party at McMenamins, I have now had the best macaroni and cheese in the universe.
Also, I went to see Constantine with Pearl, Alton, Mirella and their friend Sarah. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, given that Keanu Reeves was in it. He just needs to find more movies where he doesn't have to even try to act. Maybe ones where he is dead.

This is really cool

Baby name statistics

I'm actually impressed with how many other Shannon's were born around the same time as me.

For those who haven't heard yet

Bea and I were in a car accident yesterday. My front left tire blew out on I-5 in the left hand lane.

Good things: Neither of us is really badly hurt.
All the other cars managed to avoid us.
I didn't get a ticket.
There was a nice man who was behind it when it all happened and waited for the police to come. He even made me put on a sweater and talked to 911 for us.
The XRay tech was totally hawt. He had the best Scottish brogue.

Bad things: Orlando is totaled. Good bye Orlando.
I had to tell the whole story, including why I couldn't possibly be pregnant too many times yesterday.
When I called my Mom to tell her I can't clean today, she asked if it was my fault. Legally, I think it is my fault, but I don't actually think there was anything I could have done to stop it.
The vicodin makes the pain go away, but doesn't make me sleepy. Plus I have to take two to make it work. At least I won't need it for long.

Now I get/have to take the next few days off from working.

Continuing adventures with Bust

As most of you already know, the new subscription service Bust is using is horrible. Surprisingly enough though, I got the Rose McGowan (Jan) issue on time and in perfect condition. Yesterday, for no apparent reason I got another copy.
I called the subscription office this morning and was informed that I had ordered a replacement copy, due to damage. "Not true!" said I. Some poor person, hopefully one who is at least named Shannon, is waiting angrily for a new copy, while I have two perfectly decent ones.
I'm surprised this copy even got here, since the hand addressed label was to Bedwood City, and they mismarked the zipcode as well. I checked with the lady, to make sure that my address was correct in their computer, and she was annoyed that I was wasting her time with such a silly question.

Does anyone want my spare copy?
