Well, look at that!

I wrote up a lesson plan based on my favorite month from our toddler group, and it's here at Code Name Mama, as part of her Preschool Lesson Plan series. I highly recommend you check out the whole series. There are lots of great ideas there.

In other news, now that Moira is 4, our babysitter is teaching her to knit. Reportedly, she managed a couple of stitches on her own during the first lesson. Way to go kid!

  1. So cool! I'm going to have to try holding Mikko that way as we work on knitting lessons, because he wants to try but doesn't get it. I tried teaching him finger knitting and loom knitting, but he was more interested in making big tangled balls of (cheap) yarn. Which, you know, is good, too.

  2. I haven't tried finger knitting with Moira yet, although I keep meaning to. This was a deal she worked out with the baby sitter well in advance. Since Miss Faye teaches knitting professionally, I figured it was best to take her up on the deal.
