Moving has me all in a kerfluffle.
Not only am I picking at scabs with a vengance, something I have never managed to stop doing, but was recently getting almost self destructive, but I am now picking up weird bits of emotion.
Yesterday I got a bill from Comcast charging us for the cable modem they made no attempt to get back, not even telling us that they wanted it back at all. Fortunately Todd still has it.
But then I had the sinking feeling for a good 20 minutes that I had done something insanely stupid with my money.
Then today I was watching starting over. One of the girls found out that her aunt has been incredibly mean to her ever since her mother died and her aunt was made executor of the will, she called to try and work it out and her aunt is refusing to speak to her. So now, I'm angry. I can feel it in my throat. It seems an awfully strong reaction to something that happened on a TV show.
I need to calm down.
[info]mspurplepearl showed me this.
Classic boardgames like battleship and chess in a form that is supposed to replace older play by e-mail stuff.
I like it. You should join and play games with me.

Attn: Canucks

It looks like I am going to visit Canada one last time before Walker and I move to California. If you would like to see me the weekend of April 9th, let me know and I'll see what we can work out. (I'm looking at you Tillie, maybe we can have a small going away party for me?)

*squee!*

I am now the proud owner of the cutest purse in the universe. It has cherries on it, and sawarski crystals. And a matching cell phone holder.
*happy dance*

Tiny Norwescon update

I think my favorite parts of Norwes this year were:
1) Finally being near enough to Pearl while she was drunk that she groped me. It's a more serious form of groping then when she tries to do it sober.
2) Having a "Aren't we suave?" moment with Jordan on Sunday.

!@#%

I realized just now that I totally forgot about the stuff in the back room. There goes my plan to onlyfill two pods.
Damn!

Hi score!

[info]eyemage, Walker and I managed to get everything into only two of the pods! Go us! Fortunately this means that contents won't shift during moving.

Please help!

This post has the info for when I am moving. Please come help me! It will be an easy move, but it will be much easier if it's not just me, Walker and Selina.

Thank you

Today

Walker and I stopped at the aquarium where we bumped into Naomi's friend Fester. I'd forgotten she volunteers at the aquarium on the weekends and was momentarily stunned because I thought her name tag read "Mary M." and the only thing I could think was, "Fester can't be named Mary! She CAN'T!" So she thought I didn't remember her.
There were Girl Scouts on the street out front, so I managed to actually get cookies of my own this year. For some reason during Girl Scout season I manage to miss them most of the time when I'm at the grocery store. This year has been especially frustrating, with Girl Scouts showing up just as I'm leaving, or leaving just as I'm arriving. Wily Girl Scouts. If they would just go door to door nowadays I would happily clean them out.

Do you like Tetris? I like Tetris

So the date for my move has been set. I will be moving stuff on the 19th of March (Saturday).
This will possibly be the easiest move ever! I have rented storage pods which will arrive on my lawn on the 18th.
If you are available, please help me move all my stuff into them. I am planning to start around noon, and we will probably be done by 2 or 3. The quite obvious benifit here is that no matter how heavy what you are carrying is, you will only have to move that box ONCE, and like, 20 feet. Plus I have no couches.
Plus I will feed you.

I'm not sure if I'm excited or scared

Craft Corner DEATHMATCH
The basic premise is the put two crafters in a cage and give them a random assortment of supplies and a limited amount of time to make something. In the dark.

Oh. My. Gawd.
